Showcasing Whereby's Browser-Based Video Calling SDK

 Getting_started_header.png

Whereby is a fantastic video conferencing application. It takes advantage of the WebRTC protocol for real-time voice and video communications in the browser.

Whereby Embedded is their core product offering. Whereby Embedded makes it super-simple to add one-to-one video calling and video conferencing to your website or application — especially compared to your writing your own WebRTC service from scratch.

Whereby recently approached Webinista, Inc. to help with their content marketing strategy. Webinista was tasked with technical content writing to help Whereby educate developers and potential customers while incorporating Whereby's target keywords. In the first phase of this project, Webinista supported the launch of version 2.0.0 of Whereby's Browser SDK.

How To Add Video Conferencing to Your Web App Using the Whereby Browser SDK

Version 2.0.0 of Whereby's Browser SDK uses React hooks to give developers more flexibility and control over the user interface. The video view is decoupled from the meeting room controls and chat feature, enabling you to create fully customized web-based video calls, virtual events, and remote classrooms.
